From professional volleyball to endurance racing,
Brandon Joyner has built an athletic career around competition,
coaching and continually taking on the next challenge.
Before moving into endurance sports, Brandon played collegiate volleyball at George Mason University, earned First Team All-EIVA honors and went on to play professionally overseas in Europe. He later built an eight-year career in professional beach volleyball, competing in AVP events around the country.
Brandon now brings that competitive background into triathlon and endurance racing, including IRONMAN 70.3 events. Based in Hermosa Beach, California, he continues to train and compete while coaching beach volleyball athletes through Better at Beach.
