A professional beach volleyball player from Texas, Makenzie Griffin competes on the AVP Beach Pro Tour and internationally on the Beach Pro Tour.

Her path to professional volleyball was anything but direct. Makenzie worked her way through multiple levels of college volleyball before reaching Division I beach volleyball at Long Beach State, where she earned First Team All-Big West honors and an AVCA Top Flight Award.

Since moving into the professional game, Makenzie has competed in AVP events across the country and Beach Pro Tour events around the world, including Elite16 and Challenge competition. She continues to build her ranking while taking on stronger fields and more international events.

Now based back in Texas, Makenzie balances professional competition, year-round training and coaching while raising her young daughter. Her long-term goal is to continue climbing the international ranks and pursue the 2032 Olympic Games.
